About us

Japan Drift Rentals is built by drifters, for drifters. Our mission is to give people from around the world the opportunity to drive in Japan the right way- either on normal track days, at events, in tandems, or even in competitions.

When you’re in the seat, the car’s yours. Respect it, respect the track, and have fun. We’re a small team, but our cars are set up right and ready to get you on track!

Q&A

  Q: WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL?

All rentals include the car ready to go, fuel, set of new tires, a helmet, and basic support at the track.

  Q: DO I NEED PRIOR DRIFTING EXPERIENCE TO RENT A CAR?

No prior drifting experience is required. Our rentals and support services are designed to accommodate beginners through to advanced drifters.

  Q: CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY BOOKING?

Yes, cancellations made within two weeks of the reserved date will incur a 20% fee from the booking deposit. You can also reschedule depending on availability at no charge.

  Q: CAN I RENT A CAR IF I DON’T HAVE A JAPANESE DRIVER’S LICENSE?
  
Yes, although we recommend you get an International Driving Permit (IDP) for getting around with a road legal car since circuits are typically not accessible by trains.

  Q: DO I NEED TO PAY A SEPARATE TRACK FEE?

Track fees are not included in the rental price. Prices vary by circuit but typically range from ￥6,000-￥10,000 for a full day, payable at the gate.

  Q: HOW DO I GET TO THE TRACK?

Please let us know if you need help with finding accommodation, or getting from place to place. We can help book you a stay nearby the circuit, and from there we can pick you up along the way.
